New York, NY – May 29, 2015 – New York based securities and corporate law firm Sichenzia Ross Friedman Ference LLP (“SRFF”) announced today that Irwin Weltz has joined the Firm as a partner in the securities regulatory, business litigation and arbitration practice groups. Mr. Weltz, who started his career in law in 1993, is an experienced litigator who has represented individuals and entities in a wide range of matters such as securities class actions, employment disputes, partnership conflicts, derivative actions, internal investigations, insider trading, professional malpractice, criminal defense, defamation, contract and fraud claims and bankruptcy proceedings. Mr. Weltz’s core practice focuses on representing broker-dealers and registered representatives in customer, employment and industry arbitrations, and investigations and proceedings involving the SEC, FINRA and state regulatory bodies.

Prior to joining SRFF, Mr. Weltz was a partner at another New York City law firm for the past 7 years. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at Brunelle & Hadjikow, P.C., and Sirota and Sirota LLP.
