Press Release – New York, NY– December 21, 2017 – The law firm of Sichenzia Ross Ference Kesner LLP today announced the promotion of A.R. John Hitchings, Jay Yamamoto and Mendy Piekarski to Partner.

A.R. John Hitchings’ practice is focused on defending claims unique to the financial services industry. Mr. Hitchings regularly appears before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in all phases of arbitration proceedings, as well as state and federal court. Mr. Hitchings also advises clients in connection with internal investigations, regulatory inquiries, enforcement proceedings, responses to non-party subpoenas, and often prepare clients for trial examinations, depositions, and other “on-the-record” testimony. Mr. Hitchings is a member of the Firm’s Business Litigation & Arbitration and Broker-Dealer Regulation Practice Groups and has been recognized as a New York Metro Super Lawyers Rising Star each year since 2014.
Jay Yamamoto represents clients in corporate finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, private equity financing transactions (PIPEs), registered direct transactions, public offerings and other securities offerings and cryptocurrencies. In addition, Mr. Yamamoto advises companies and their boards on securities law compliance, corporate governance and 1934 Act reporting requirements. Mr. Yamamoto is a member of the Firm’s Corporate Law and Securities Law Groups. Mr. Yamamoto is also proficient in Japanese.
Mendy Piekarski’s practice focuses on securities and complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts as well as in various arbitration tribunals. He also represents corporations and individuals before the Securities and Exchange Commission, FINRA, and other U.S. regulatory agencies. Mr. Piekarski is a member of the Firm’s Business Litigation & Arbitration, Securities Law and Broker-Dealer Regulation Practices Groups. Mr. Piekarski is also conversant in Hebrew.
